Renae Ayris is an official representative of Australia at the Miss Universe 2012. As Miss Universe Australia, Renae got the opportunity to travel around her country working in charities, events and shoots and most recently worked with Operation Smile in China doing surgeries in kids with facial disfigurement.

 Culpo represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant that was held on December 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She won the competition and was crowned Miss Universe 2012. She succeeds outgoing titleholder, Leila Lopes from Angola.
